About My Intern

My internship was from 5th May 2010, just after the last exam on 4th May. I pushed myself to give up the last summer vacation, the trip to Europe and the chance to go back to China. In order to be so called prepared for future job hunting, I applied for an intern like accounts. Actually, this position is something dealing with accounting. I was offered this job by AWWA, Asian Women's Welfare Association, an NPO, non-profit organization. It's indicated that the job is audit assistant.
Every day, I get into office at 9 o'clock and leave at 6. It will take me one hour to get there, but it's worthwhile. I could smell the working people's emotion. Usually, it's quiet in the train in the morning and noisy at dawn. In the morning, some ladies makes up faces, some read newspaper, some take a snip. Everything is in order. As long as you step out of the train, people all rush to the exit. Some need to transfer, some walk to the office, some wait for others.
It was fresh for me on the first day. I dressed well with some perfume in order to be professional and sophisticated, but still can be recognized that I was just a new man in this area. First day was excited and nervous, cuz I was afraid to misunderstand others' saying, I tried my best to absorb everything I heard, and I got very tired home. The first week passed quickly and the key word in this week was TIRED. Maybe I had not been out of the exam period.
However, after two days' sound sleep at home on weekends, I got full energy to go back to work. I did feel quite well. This department is totally different from what I used to stay, because it is so crazy and excited in the working hour. I like this atmosphere really. I love this kind of job environment. I knew Gloria, Seira, Leah, Yani and Caroline. Thanks you all to attend to me.
I carefully listened to the assignment, in case to forget and also keep diary for what I've done every day. It is very useful to me.
Gradually, I get used to this office and the people. I like it and you all, hahaha.

Today, Gloria assigned me to prepare letters for auditors. Done. TMR continue. Although, I complained on the phone with the job, I know I like this kind of working hour. I must confess that I am still thinking about going out for a trip. I hope I will do well in the rest of days.

Note to myself, I book BTT on 25th June and graduation ceremony will be held on 12th July. So I need to ask for leave of these two days.
